Hayden had his Kindergarten graduation celebration yesterday. It was so fun to see how excited the kids are to go to first grade. They were supposed to have a water slide and Luau themed water party, but the freakish weather squashed that plan. Hayden's a bit sad that his best buds aren't going to be in his 1st grade class, but AC thinks Hayden and AJ have already been tagged as "shouldn't be in the same class!" I'm sure this is the first of many graduations to come- 8th grade, High School, College, Grad School, Grad School again for his PhD. But no pressure. We've got Kindergarten under our belts!
Say hello to Doris, our lovely dove that made a nest on our front porch, and her two babies. They hatched on Sunday. Aren't they adorable? The kids say hi to them every time we go outside, and Ellie always says, "shhhh- birdie sleeping!"
I finally managed to take my camera to Hayden's t-ball game. He loves playing t-ball, and is really sad that the season is almost over. He sure does look good in his uniform, though, doesn't he?
Ellie's just checking Abi's diapers. When i was watching my neice and nephew the other day, Ellie did a doo in her diaper. I said, "Ellie, did you pooh?" She looked around, spotted Abi and said, "No. Abi pooh pooh. Not me. Abi." Then went and tried to prove it. Unluckily for her, Abi was clean, and Ellie was found out. It does show initiative on her part, however.
