Summer Fun!

Yes, I know its only April, but our summers start in late March and end in October. The kids love the play pool and slip n slide. And mr. fishbelly, I mean Hayden, will probably not be quite this white by August; but lets not go expecting an actual tan. The poor boy is sooo white (how white is he? says the crowd), he almost glows. And he can't dance.

Post Party

This is the morning after Ellie's birthday party. As you can see, the girl raked in the gifts. No post birthday blues for Ellie! I think her favorite gift was the baby doll table and chairs, which she isn't supposed to be sitting on. She carries one of the chairs around as her own personal seat whenever she needs one. very handy. I think she had a great birthday!

Diggin' the tunes

Ellie has somehow figured out not only where I keep my i-pod (my gym bag), but also how the earbuds go and how to turn it on. I've caught her with it on and jammin away twice now. Luckily, both times the songs were fairly tame. I just hope she doesn't make it to my Prince selections. I'd be very embarrassed if she walked around singing something inappropriate at Sunday School.
She's looking rather like a ragamuffin as well.

Happy Birthday Ellie!

Yesterday was Ellie's birthday! We had famiy over, played in the play pool, tons of presents and, of course, cupcakes! She was much more cheerful this year, and she had a great time! My "baby" is 2- it doesn't seem possible.
