The Summer Olympics, 2016

Well, maybe not. But Hayden is making great progess in learning to swim. He will now jump off the side and swim to the side, and can almost swim the width of the pool by himself. He would swim all the time now if we let him. Now if we could just get Chloe off of the steps. She's a cautious one, that girl. Ellie's just glad to be floating around. Summer fun, here we come.

Bucket 'O Fun

Nana and Papa sent Ellie this fun bucket for her birthday. As you can see, she really likes it! She likes to load it up, then dump it out for hours of fun. Thanks, Nana and Papa!

Queen of the Mountain

Its been awhile since I've posted anything- we've been pretty boring around here. Since Ellie is such a climber, we got her the climbing castle- complete with rock wall and slide. She likes to climb to the top and stare down anyone trying to join her. She is letting her cousin Billy know that she is the queen of the mountain, and he'd better stop right there. The big kids like it too, and Miss Emily likes to slide down on her back and upside down. I wish they had one of these things for grownups.

Slip Sliding Away . . .

The warm weather brings out the slip and slide. Our friends, Maya and Luca, invited us over for a bit of wet 'n wild fun the other day. Ellie was a bit suprised by the water, but enjoyed it on the sidelines anyway. Chloe, with her lack of body fat, got cold quickly, but Hayden went to town and thoroughly enjoyed himself. It's amazing how fun a bit of water and a long piece of plastic can be!

Easy Rider

Check out the chick and her bike. She's got sunshine, MoMo (the monkey) and her hog. She's ready to roar. Just one last check on the wheels and she's off!
