Getting a kick out of Ice Age

I let Hayden watch Ice Age for the first time the other day- he was cracking up. I have never seen a kid laugh so hard at movies as does Hayden- he truly belly laughs while watching something funny. the picture doesn't do justice to his true enjoyment of Sid the Sloth. I think he's going to be a t.v./movie critic when he grows up.

We are Family . . .

Meet our cousins- Billy and Emily. We got to play together last night at Grandma's 60th birthday party. Billy and Emi are great fun to play with, and adorable to boot.

These are a few of my favorite things . . .

Ellie's favorite toys- her Parents pound-a-ball and the Fisher Price gumball machine. Both involve putting balls into objects and then getting them out again. She sets them up like her two turntables and a microphone and goes to town. Keeps her entertained for long stretches- like 10 minutes or so- thats long in baby time.

Where's Bam Bam?

In an effort to keep Ellie's hair out of her eyes, we've resorted to a high ponytail, ala Pebbles Flinstone. It's a bit silly, but nice to see her baby blues.

Springtime, baby!

It was a gorgeous spring day and we took advantage. Spent the afternoon at our friends' house. Their grass looks much better than ours- pesky rabbits. Hayden looks thrilled to be hanging out with the girls. Friends and sunshine- what more do you need??

So Close, but yet . . .

Ellie is very close to walking. She's taken a few steps, and likes to stand up whenever she can. She then gets ticked off because she can't get anywhere. Nothing that a little blanket love can't fix.

What a crew!

I never thought I'd be a blogger . . . but here it is!
Three crazy kids- Ellie enjoying a sunny day by the pool, Hayden doing Handstands with Papa, and Chloe at the zoo. They keep me busy- and usually smiling.
