Miss Chloe! She dances! She Sings! She twirls! And she dresses very well! I don't know if its the snow hat, princess shoes, flapper dress or magic wand that make the outfit, but whatever it is, it screams: STYLE!

Ellie's true colors

This is what I wished ellie looked like all the time . . . serene and sweet. However . . . this is what she often looks like- mad about something and letting us know! Oh well- a strong personality will serve her well later in life.

No Excuse

I have been beyond lazy with my blogging. I apologize to our 3 loyal readers. Here are a few shots from the park yesterday. It was finally a beautiful day, and we took advantage. I will do better- I promise!

The first hiarcut

Chloe finally let me cut her hair for the first time. Here it is, pre cut. I didn't manage to get a post cut picture, so you'll just have to imagine it about 1 inch shorter. Once I started cutting and she realized it was no big deal, she then requested a cut like Emily's, all the way to her shoulders. Now mommy isn't ready for that!

Marker? What Marker?

Ellie thinks she is a big kid, and, therefore, should be allowed to use the big kids markers. She knows that she is not supposed to use the markers. So, when asked right before I took this picture, if she had used the markers, I got the most innocent "no no no". She'll learn soon enough to cover her tracks. Until then, I can continue to catch her red-handed. Or black mouthed, whichever the case may be.

Party's Over

Ellie, due to a combination of late party, early bedtime and a slight personality disorder, had to miss most of Chloe's party. She awoke to half-deflated balloons and a LOT of new toys to investigate. This scooter was on the top of her list. And Hayden's list. And Chloe's. Which is why said scooter ended up at the top of my closet later that afternoon.

Build a Bear

Chloe had her birthday party at Build-a-Bear, and it was a beary good time. (I couldn't pass up that one!) She had Maya, Luca, Emily and Hayden at her party, and they had a blast. Having never been to a build-a-bear place I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out great. Chloe's bear was aptly named "Party" and she has a new friend to love.
