The "Grandpa" look

This is the look Ellie reserves for Grandpa. She always looks down at her feet then baaaarrrreeellllyy looks up to Grandpa's face. If he "catches" her looking at him, down her eyes go again. Pretty funny. Lately, however, she's been following it up with a smile in his direction. She knows Grandpa's not as grumpy as he looks.

Emily turned 4 today, and was a princess. She had a prince and princesses party, and the kids had a blast being treated like royalty. Happy birthday, Princess Emily, we love you!

Around here, we celebrate birthdays as much as we can. Hayden's friend party was fun- swimming, slip and slide, pinata . . . He had a great time with his cousins and friends.
